Towne Centre Furniture going out of business

Grande Prairie is going to be without one of its long time downtown businesses.

The owner of Towne Centre Furniture has announced the store is prepping for a final sale before it closes its doors for good.

“It is with mixed feelings and a heavy heart that I inform you that Towne Centre Furniture will shut its doors after nearly 40 years in business,” said Jerry Kilani, Owner in a press release. “Towne Centre Furniture has been one of the leading furniture, mattress, and appliance stores in Canada and we would not have been able to enjoy such a long run without the support and patronage of our loyal customers.”
