Final curling Grand Slam starts today

The final Grand Slam of Curling event of the year starts today in Saskatoon.

The Champions Cup will run through Sunday.

Brad Gushue and Geoff Walker open play at 8 p.m. tonight against Saskatoon’s Kirk Muyres.

Casey Scheidegger opens play tomorrow at 4 p.m. against a team from Russia skipped by Alina Kovaleva.

Kristie Moore and Cary-Anne McTaggart from Grande Prairie are with the Scheidegger rink.

Kevin Koe will play his first game against Muyres tomorrow evening at 8 p.m.
