Motorcycle passenger dies in Edmonton highway crash

Edmonton police say a 28-year-old woman who was a passenger on a motorcycle has died after a crash on a highway in the city’s west end.

Police say the woman died of her injuries Tuesday morning.

They say the 47-year-old woman who was driving the motorcycle remains in stable condition.

Police say the motorcycle was heading north on Anthony Henday Drive on Monday afternoon when it began to slow down with traffic.
