ALERT sent out a news release October 20, 2016 saying Morris and 13 others had been charged after a five-month investigation code-named Operation ICE Reign.

ALERT also said at the time none of those arrested were making child pornography, but were uploading it and sharing it with other people.

Trial dates set in Grande Prairie stabbing attack

Alberta Justice says trial dates have been set for one of the two people charged after a stabbing in downtown Grande Prairie in March of last year.

Stephanie Plamondon will stand trial on a charge of aggravated assault February 25 to 27, 2020.

An attempted murder charge was dropped at her preliminary hearing.

She and Dylan Gogan were arrested after a man was stabbed near Rotary House March 6, 2018.

He was taken to hospital with what RCMP called at the time non-life threatening injuries.

Gogan was later attacked and beaten into a coma in the Peace River Correctional Centre. Alberta Justice says there is a stay of proceedings in place in his case.

Plamondon will also stand trail on charges of robbery and unlawful confinement in a separate case January 14 and 15, 2020.

Trial dates set in Peace River double stabbing

Alberta Justice says trial dates have been set for a man charged after two people were stabbed in Peace River in 2016.

Steven Daniel Phair’s trial is set for November 20 to 22.

He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one of possession of a weapon after two men were attacked December 17, 2016.

The two made their way to a nearby liquor store to look for help. By-standers looked after them until police and EMS arrived. They were taken to Grande Prairie and Edmonton for treatment, but were later released.

Phair was to stand trail last October, but did not show up for court.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued fro him January 24 this year. He turned himself in five days later.
