Charges that include assault with a weapon have been laid against an Alberta RCMP officer who allegedly pointed a gun at a woman during an off-duty dispute.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team says an officer was in his own vehicle when he got into an argument with another driver west of Barrhead in December 2017.
The team alleges the officer drove dangerously, confronted a woman in the other vehicle and pointed a gun at her before confining her on the road.
