Start of the season postponed for U18 Lights

The U18 Northern Lights baseball team will have to wait a little longer before beginning their 2019 season.

The club was suppose to begin their campaign in St.Albert this weekend with a trio of games, but due to a winter blast by mother nature all 3 games were postponed.

As a result, the Lights will play both their season and home opener this coming weekend.

They will open the 2019 campaign at home against Red Deer Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Evergreen Park.

The Lights will then follow it up with a pair of games Sunday against the Dawgs 16U and the Edmonton Padres.
