Wolski’s Bandits fall in Doyle Cup

May 6, 2019 | 7:06 AM

Sexsmith’s Carter Woslki and the Brooks Bandits haven’t lost often during the 2018-2019 campaign.

However, for the first time this season the club lost three straight.

The Bandits were in Prince George for the 2nd half of the Doyle Cup against the Spruce Kings.

Brooks had a 2-1 series lead as the series shifted to B.C.

The Bandits would end up dropping the next three games including a 4-2 loss in Game 6 Saturday night.

The good news for both Wolski’s Bandits and the Prince George Spruce Kings is that both clubs will be heading to the National Championship which is being held in Brooks this year.

Other teams taking part in the tournament will be the Portage Terriers, Oakville Blades, and Ottawa Jr. Senators.

The tournament begins on May 11th
