Fire southeast of Sexsmith results in no injuries Sunday night

Just prior to 8 p.m. Sunday evening County Regional Fire Service along with the Sexsmith Fire Department were called out to a structure fire near Township Road 733 and Range Road 52.

On arrival, fire crews found a holiday trailer inside of a storage shed ablaze.

Crews were able to quickly get the fire under control and kept the blaze from spreading to the structures surrounding the shed.

According to Regional Fire Service Deputy Chief Jason Nesbitt via press release, “An immediate call to 9-1-1 made the difference in preventing the fire from spreading.”
