The aunt of a Calgary toddler whose body was found along with her mother’s says she hoped they would be found alive, but had also braced for the worst.
Josie Sanderson, who lives in St. Catherine’s, Ontario, never met her niece in person, but says she would regularly video chat with her.
The suspected remains of Jasmine Lovett and her 22-month-old daughter, Aliyah Sanderson, were found yesterday in a heavily wooded part of Kananaskis Country on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains.
