UPDATE: One lane of traffic has opened up after a semi-truck fire along Highway 43 near Little Smoky blocked the southbound lanes. Motorists can still expect delays along that route. Northbound lanes remain open.
Southbound traffic along Highway 43 is currently at a stand still, as a single vehicle fire is blocking the highway just south of Little Smoky.
All southbound lanes at Township Road 654 are blocked, and motorists can expect major delays and should find an alternate route. There is currently no timetable for when the road will re-open, and no further details have been released. Northbound lanes remain open at this time.
