Out of Control Wildfire Burning North West of Manning

Around 50 fire fighters from Manning, High Level and Peace River are battling an out of control wildfire in Northern Lights County.
Helicopters, air tankers, and several heavy equipment groups are also working on the blaze, which is currently 30 hectares in size and is located about 22 km North West of Manning.
Residents in that area are asked to monitor the County’s website and Facebook page for information on possible evacuations, and to be ready to leave on short notice.
