New wildfires in Grande Prairie Forest Area, all are under control

Lightning started four new fires in the Grande Prairie Forest Area in the last 24 hours.

All four are under control.

The Grande Prairie area has had 25 fires that have burned a total of six hectares since the start of fire season March 1.

The fire bans and off-highway vehicle restrictions remain in place.
