Recruiting season continues for the GPRC Wolves as they get ready for the 2019-2020 season and on Monday the Men’s volleyball team announced several new signees.

The first being Zachariaha Ohori from Prince George B.C.

Ohori won a Provincial Championship in 2019 with his U18 club in B.C and as Head Coach Mitch Schneider stated in a press release, is a well-rounded player who has had success at both a Provincial and a National level.

Trey Sanderson will be joining the Wolves following a season in the ACAC with the Olds College Broncos.

Sanderson is a Medicine Hat product and is expected to provide both experience and depth to the club.

Also joining the pack will be Villeneuve product Lane Matthews.

Matthews played with Sanderson last year at Olds College and was named Male Athlete of the Year in 2018.

Finally, local product Josh Dumont has put pen to paper with the Wolves for next season.

The St.Joe’s grad was part of the gold winning Team Alberta at the 2018 Arctic Winter Games.

All four of the new recruits will hit the court for the Wolves when the season begins at the end of September.
