Sexsmith ready to host annual Chautauqua Day

Today is Chautauqua day in Sexsmith.

Festivities began this morning with a pancake breakfast at the Civic Centre, followed by a parade at noon.

A number of events are also planned, including food vendors, children’s activities, live performances, and a farmer’s market.

There will also be a ribbon cutting at 2pm to launch restoration work on the old grain elevator in the community.
