Kirk Sutherland falls just short of semis at Rangeland Derby

The semi finals are set at the Rangeland Derby in Calgary.

Logan Gorst was crowned aggregate champion after Friday night’s races and will be joined by Todd Baptiste, Luke Tournier, Ross Knight, Evan Salmond, Vern Nolin, Chad Fike and Chance Bensmiller in Saturday’s semi finals.

Grande Prairie native Kirk Sutherland was 9th in the aggregate and missed the semis by 34-100ths of a second.

Ray Mitsuing won day money on Friday night.
