2019 World Jet Boat Championships hit the water in GP

There have been plenty of waves out on the water in Northwestern Alberta the past week as the 2019 World Jet Boat Race Championship has returned to the area for another thrilling week and a half of competition.

The Championship began in Whitecourt, moved up to Peace River, and will now be in Grande Prairie over the course of the next two days.

Competitors are coming to the region from all over the world as they compete in categories which include Unlimited, U-Spec, CX Class and FX Class.

All 60 competitors will be on the water in Grande Prairie Wednesday and Thursday.
