Blood Tribe Police Service Constable charged with sexual assault
STAND OFF, AB – A member of the Blood Tribe Police Service has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault.
A release Wednesday morning noted that 10-year Constable Bradley Chief Body was arrested on Tuesday, July 16. The BTPS stated that a female officer reported that in February 2017, Chief Body touched her inappropriately during two separate incidents while they were both on duty.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) investigated the matter and in consultation with the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service (ACPS), laid two charges of sexual assault.
The Blood tribe Police Service said as a result of the charges, Chief Body has been suspended from duty with pay, pending further review.
