JASPER- The Transportation Safety Board is investigating a fatal plane crash near Jasper.
The RCMP say the Cessna 150, with two men on board, crashed into a river moments after taking off from an airstrip near the town early Sunday afternoon.
Mounties say the passenger, a 31-year-old man, died at the crash site.
The pilot was airlifted to hospital in Edmonton where he was reported to be in serious but stable condition.
No names have been released.
