Former Storm forward joins SAIT Trojans for next season

A former member of the Grande Prairie Storm has found a home for next season.

Calgary product Jared Power will be staying in his hometown for the 2019-2020 hockey season as he suits up for the SAIT Trojans.

The announcement came Wednesday via Twitter.

Power spent parts of two seasons with the Grande Prairie Storm.

In 50 regular season games with the Storm, Power scored 18 goals and added 20 assists.

Power finished his Junior career with the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express following a trade from the Storm on December 1st for Future Considerations.

Following the trade, Power would rack up 10 goals and 13 assists in 28 games played. He would add 1 assist in 5 games in the post-season.

Power’s Express would lose in 5 games in the first round of the BCHL playoffs to the eventual league champion Prince George Spruce Kings.
