Kings acquire Chalifoux for Creston Valley

A Grande Prairie product will be returning to the Swan City for the upcoming hockey season.

It was announced on Twitter late Thursday night that Kyle Chalifoux was traded from the Creston Valley Thunder Cats of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League to the JDA Kings.

In 40 games last season with the Thundercats, Chalifoux had a goal and an assists.

The Grande Prairie product is a graduate of the GPAC program, spending time with the Minor Midget, Midget AA, and Midget AAA programs.

The JDA Kings begin training camp ahead of the 2019-2020 NWJHL season on September 6.
