Brewers no hit the Rage to claim Game 1 of Wheatbelt Final

The County Brewers drew first blood in the Wheatbelt Final between them and the Rycroft Tuesday nigh

The Brewers scored the lone run of the game in the bottom half of the 2nd inning and they would hold on for a 1-0 win.

Starting pitcher Matt Atkinson was superb in the win for the Brewers.

He allowed no hits in 7 innings of work and struck out 5 in the win.

The Brewers now lead the best of five series 1-0.

Game 2 is set for Thursday night in Rycroft.

First pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
