Day 1 of WPCA Pro Tour stop in Dawson Creek postponed

Chuckwagon racing did not get underway Wednesday night at the Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede thanks to mother nature.

Heavy rain in the region stopped the riders from beginning competition.

As a result, Day 1 of the Stampede will be Thursday night, weather permitting.

Aggregate racing will run through to Saturday, with the sudden death final heat taking place on Sunday.

Wagons begins rolling Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. PST.
