Lights win opener at Westerns

The Northern Lights U18 Baseball club opened up Westerns Thursday night on a winning note.

They crushed the Red Deer Braves 13-1 to get off to a 1-0 start in the tournament.

The Northern Lights will resume round robin play Friday afternoon when they face the Saskatoon Cubs.

First pitch is at 3:00 p.m.
