Aug 22, 2019 | 6:35 AM

With training camp just two weeks away for the JDA Kings, the club has revealed who will be wearing the ā€˜Cā€™ for the upcoming season.

Grande Prairie product Brent Headon was announced as the Kings Captain for the 2019-2020 season Wednesday night.

Headon is entering his 4th and final season of Junior B hockey.

He spent the first 2 years of his Junior career in the KIJHL with the Nelson Leafs.

Headon then returned home to join the Kings for the 18/19 season.

In 26 games during the regular season last year, Headon had 5 goals and 7 assists from the blue line.

He would chip in a goal and 2 assists in 9 games in the post-season.

The Kings will hold their training camp from September 6-8 at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.

They will begin the regular season on September 20 when they host the Fort St.John Huskies.
