Northern Lights represented at U16 Girls Invitational

The baseball season isn’t over just yet for one member of the Northern Lights U18 ball club.

Madi Quartley is representing the Peace Country and the province of Alberta at the U16 Girls Invitational in Bedford, Nova Scotia this weekend.

Quartley will be playing 3rd base and pitching for Team Alberta in the tournament.

Unfortunately, Quartley and Team Alberta dropped their opening contest Thursday 8-1 to Nova Scotia.

They will look to bounce back on Friday when they face Ontario in the morning and one of the clubs from Quebec in the evening.
