Storm Win Pre-Season Opener

A third period comeback powered the Grande Prairie Storm to a win in their 2019 pre-season opener.

Ty Toews and newly named captain Jackson Wozniak scored in the final frame to give the Storm a 3-2 victory in Vernon over the BCHL’s Vipers.

Ethan Strang also scored for the Storm, while Ryan Shostack and Ryan Maclean replied for the Vipers.

Lars Kaliel and Kaeden Lane split the netminding duties for the Storm, who were outshot 35-17 on the night.
