City seeking public input on Vehicle for Hire bylaw

City Hall has organized a pair of what it calls engagement sessions on its proposed Vehicle For Hire bylaw.

It would govern taxis and limousines, along with ride sharing and designated driver services.

The city hopes to have the new regulations in place by January 1.

The first of the drop-in style sessions will be held today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City on 99 building, located on the northwest corner of 99 Avenue and 99 Street.
