An Alberta man has been charged in the purchase of a high-end luxury vehicle in Ontario using fraudulent identity documents.

Niagara Regional police say the vehicle worth more than $120,000 was purchased from a car dealership in St. Catharines in August.

Police say a 66-year-old suspect from Fort Saskatchewan, northeast of Edmonton, was arrested over the weekend.

He is facing five charges including one count each of fraud over $5000, identity theft and identity fraud.
