Peace Country still well represented on Football Alberta rankings
Peace Country high school football teams continue to make the climb up the Football Alberta Rankings.
Following a big 53-6 victory over High Prairie to move to 3-1 on the year, the GP Composite Warriors moved up two spots in the Tier I rankings to #8 in the province in the week three rankings.
Meanwhile in Tier IV, The Sexsmith Sabres moved themselves up another spot to #3, following a shutout victory over Peace River last week. The Sabres are now 2-0 to open the Mighty Peace Football League season.
Despite two big wins over both Hillside (Valleyview) and Notre Dame (Red Deer) this past week, the St Joe’s Celtics didn’t see any movement from their #2 spot in Tier II. Holy Trinity Academy of Okotoks continues to hold down the top spot.
