OKOTOKS, Alta. – A southern Alberta pharmacist convicted earlier this year of prescription drug theft is no longer allowed to practise.
The Alberta College of Pharmacy has cancelled the permit of Calgarian Leanne Rogalsky, who faces $80,000 in fines.
She is also prohibited from serving as a pharmacy owner or proprietor for five years.
Rogalsky was convicted of six offences in February after more than 33,000 pills, including oxycodone and morphine, were stolen over a 3 1/2-year period from the Safeway pharmacy in Okotoks where she worked.
