Three teens in critical condition after taking prescription meds at a house party

Three teenage boys are in critical condition after taking prescription medication at a house party east of Calgary.

RCMP suspect the teens — two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old — ingested pill-form opioids at the Saturday night gathering in Strathmore.

All three were taken to the hospital within hours of each other.

Police are looking for tips from the public on the circumstances surrounding the overdoses.
