Tax scam targetting local people again

A listener has let us know the tax scam is targeting people in Grande Prairie again.

He says the call was a robotic message speaking quickly and talking about this being a second attempt to contact him and mentioning court.

The call comes 1-833-865-2537.

The CRA has said repeatedly it does not contact people this way, ask for personal information, or ask for payment in the form of things like gift cards.
