Edmonton parents charged after leaving infant in car at casino

EDMONTON- An Edmonton couple face a child abandonment charge after a baby was discovered alone in a vehicle parked outside a casino.

Police say officers were sent to a gambling club on Monday night to follow up on a complaint.

They were told casino security staff had found a baby about 18 months old in a vehicle.

They were able to get the cold child out because the windows had been left three-quarters open.

Police say the child’s parents were found inside the casino.
