UPDATE: Planned power outage Monday in Grande Prairie

The planned power outage by ATCO Electric that was scheduled for Sunday will happen Monday.
 
According to its Twitter account, the utility company says forecasted high temperatures for Sunday in the low 30’s led them to reconsider the planned outage Sunday. It will impact about 750 customers in the Patterson Place and South Patterson areas, between 84th and 68th avenue, from 100th street to Resources Road. 
 
ATCO crews will be working on necessary system upgrades in order to avoid future outages.
