NWJHL adding two All-Star games to league showcase
The North West Junior Hockey has made a couple of additions as they prepare for the second annual Showcase Weekend, which is now just over three weeks away.
In addition to the six league games to be played at the Crosslink County Sportsplex from November 8-10, NWJHL Commissioner and Vice President Jamie Salm says action will get started with an All-Star game on the Friday night.
“It’s going to be a nice touch, to showcase the top players from each team coming out on the ice and having a good, competitive battle,” said Salm.
Since the league held the inaugural showcase last year as a way for college and various other scouts to have a closer look at the league’s talent, Salm says the All-Star game helps further showcase the league’s top talent.
