Snowfall warning issued for Grande Prairie area

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, and Valleyview areas.

Warnings are also out for Whitecourt, Fox Creek, Hinton, and Grande Cache.

The weather office says a system moving into west-central Alberta will bring snow today through Tuesday.

Areas southwest of Grande Prairie could see 10 to 15 centimetres while some places closer to Grande Cache could see 20 centimetres.
