Traffic light upgrades to begin Monday

Traffic lights at four Grande Prairie intersections will be out, starting Monday, as the city upgrades the signals.
The intersections of 100 street and 82 avenue — 108 street and 84 avenue — and 108 street and 76 avenue will be impacted, as the City upgrades the traffic signal cabinets
The city is also replacing the traffic signals at 100 street and 94 avenue, which will cause periodic lane closures.
Each intersection will experience short blackouts during the work, and drivers must treat the intersections as 4 way stops during those times.
