Good day for GPAC teams

GPAC teams went 3-and-0 in action on Saturday.

The Ernie’s Sports Experts Major Midget Storm improved to 8-and-2 on the season with a 4-2 win over the Calgary Royals.

Dayne Tews had a goal and two assists to lead the Storm, while Codie Saunders, Ty Toews and Ethan Boutcher added singles.

Meanwhile, Spencer Brazel and Zackary Shantz each scored twice as the Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm hammered MLAC 6-1 in Edmonton.

Devon Barclay and Kyler Watson also scored for the Storm, who visit Fort Saskatchewan on Sunday.

And the Higson Dental group Bantam AA Storm doubled up Fort McMurray 4-2 in the opener of a two game weekend set in the Oilsands City.

Bowen Grycan scored twice while Joshua Stinson and Brady Parsons added singles for the Storm.

The rematch between the two teams goes Sunday, while the Dreger Racing Team Bantam AA Storm will visit Peace River.

The PCFAC Bonnett’s Energy Female Bantam Elite Storm fell 4-3 to the Edmonton Pandas.

Rylee McLeod scored twice and added an assist for the Storm, while Molly Hamilton had a goal and two assists.

They visit St Albert on Sunday.
