GPRC teams swept for second straight day

It was a case of deja vu for GPRC sports teams on Saturday, as they held rematches against University of Alberta at Augustana (volleyball) and Keyano College (basketball).

Volleyball took place at GPRC gym, with the GPRC men falling to UAA three games to one (25-21, 25-10, 14-25, 25-20).

Tom Wheeler led the Wolves attack with 10 points (6 kills, 4 blocks).

The women were swept in three straight (25-14, 25-18, 25-15), with Megan Fowler leading the way with 11 points (9 kills, one block, one service ace).

Basketball teams were in Fort McMurray, where the men lost 93-63 and the women fell 65-46.

Liam O’Hallahan had 23 points to lead the men, while Jayden Demchuk has 12 points coming off the bench to lead the women in scoring.
