Athletics off to NPHL Final

The Grande Prairie Athletics are off to the North Peace Hockey League final.

The Athletics hammered the Falher Pirates Tuesday night at the Coca-Cola Centre 9-0 to clinch a 4-2 series win.

With the series win, the Athletics will advance to the North Peace Hockey League final where they will meet the Dawson Creek Canucks.

The Canucks are coming off a 4-0 sweep of the Manning Comets in the other league semi-final and will have home ice advantage in the league final.

A schedule for the league final is listed below:

March 9th – Game 1 – Grande Prairie @ Dawson Creek

March 12th – Game 2 – Dawson Creek @ Grande Prairie

March 13th – Game 3 – Grande Prairie @ Dawson Creek

March 16th – Game 4 – Dawson Creek @ Grande Prairie

*March 19th – Game 5 – Grande Prairie @ Dawson Creek

*March 21st – Game 6 – Dawson Creek @ Grande Prairie

*March 23rd – Game 7 – Grande Prairie @ Dawson Creek

 

The schedule is currently tenative and changes could be made.
