Murder trial continues

Witnesses are still testifying at a Grande Prairie murder trial.
 
The trial for Nicholas Richard Harris will enter Day 8 today.
 
He is on trial for the 2014 shooting death of John William Rock outside the Canadian Brewhouse in Grande Prairie.
 
Most of Tuesday was taken up with both sides questioning a forensic video analyst asked by the RCMP to look at video taken from the scene at the time of the killing. He was later retained by the Crown to work on the case.
 
There will be more submissions on that evidence when the trial resumes today.
 
Court heard earlier in the trail from a witness who said Harris and Rock had been in a  dispute for several months over drug money owed to the victim.
