Gladu, Samuel David Josiah

Samuel David Josiah Gladu, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 20 years.
Samuel was born and raised in Grande Prairie. He was also a member of the Little Red River Cree Nation. He was the youngest of thirteen siblings. Samuel was the kind of person that greeted you with a hug and a kiss. He was outgoing, funny, had a good sense of humour, and loved to make people laugh. He loved animals and had a strong faith in the Lord. He will be remembered as the kind, gentle, and loving person he always was, and he will be greatly missed by many.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Miles and Irene Gladu; siblings: Tina (Alfred) Seeseequon, Lionel (Pamela) Loonskin, Tanya Loonskin, Shawn (Alicia) Kolak, Calvin Loonskin, Adeline Gladu, Ryan Kolak, Mark Gladu, Daniel Gladu, Michael Gladu, Charity (Nevauda) Wagner, and Hope (Michael) Gladu; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Joseph and Louise Laboucan and his paternal grandparents Adolphus and Adeline Gladu.
A Viewing will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 2:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home.
