Wolves basketball open weekend with losses to NAIT

The GPRC Wolves basketball teams are closing off the pre-Christmas portion of their 2019-2020 season this weekend by hosting NAIT out of Edmonton.

On Friday night, the men dropped a 103-89 decision, with Liam O’Hallahan dropping 28 points for the Wolves, while Saxon Joyes and Manny Iloka both came off the bench to record 15 and 14 points respectively.

On the women’s side, NAIT pulled out a 70-33 win over GPRC, as Kelly Reid had 11 points to lead the Wolves scoring attack.

Rematches go Saturday afternoon at GPRC, starting with the women’s game at 1 pm.
