A survey by the Alberta Motor Association suggests just 19 per cent of drivers in the province feel confident in the winter driving abilities of other drivers on the road.
At the same time, 92 per cent of those questioned have confidence in their own skills behind the wheel.
Men tend to think of themselves as better winter drivers that women, but both genders were much closer when it comes to their thoughts about other motorists.
It also found about 67 per cent of Albertans use winter tires.
