Clairmont women faces 169 charges in counterfeit operation
Four people are facing charges as a result of a property crime investigation in the Fairview area.
On December 6, the Western Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit, RCMP Emergency Response Team, and Fairview RCMP detachment executed a search warrant on a rural Fairview address, where they discovered what is believed to be a large scale forgery and counterfeiting operation.
Personal identification, cheque books, passports, documents, and forged identification and cheques were all seized during the search.
Four people were apprehended, and the RCMP have charged Kailey Peterschein of Clairmont, Kristi Patricia from Grande Prairie, Marcus Moore of Spirit River and Peter Mares from Calgary with two possessions of stolen property each.
