Charges pending against school bus driver arrested for impaired driving

The RCMP says charges are pending against a school bus driver who was arrested for impaired driving outside a school in Spruce Grove.

Police say staff called officers to Graminia School yesterday afternoon after identifying a safety concern involving one of the bus drivers.

Parkland RCMP says the driver was removed before the scheduled bus departure time and a replacement was called in.

They say a 46-year-old woman from Spruce Grove was taken into custody and will be facing charges.
