Storm kick off road trip with loss in Brooks

Randy Hernandez scored twice to lead the Brooks Bandits to a 5-2 win over the Grande Prairie Storm in the kick off of the Storm’s three game, pre Christmas Southern road trip.

Brayden Krieger, Tim Rego and Devin Philips also scored for the Bandits, who won their 10th win in a row to improve to 34-1-1 on the season.

Brett Meerman had a goal and an assist for the Storm, while Nathan Morgan added the other marker.

Lars Kaliel made 29 saves in the Storm net.

The Storm continue their road trip in Olds tonight.
