St Joe’s claims Peace Bowl

The St Joe’s Celtics won their 5th straight Peace Bowl title on Saturday, blanking Grande Prairie Composite 37-0. 

Meanwhile, Whitecourt beat Peace Wapiti 30-19 with a berth in Provincials on the line.

St. Joe’s, GP Comp, Whitecourt, and Sexsmith all now move on to provincial high school football playoffs.

GP Comp will take on Lindsay Thurber in a Tier 1 North playoff in Red Deer, St Joe’s will face Archbishop Jordan in a Tier 2 North playoff game in Sherwood Park, Whitecourt travels to St. Albert in a Tier 3 North playoff, while Sexsmith hosts St. Paul in a Tier 4 North playoff match-up.
