ATB Financial sues owner of now-closed Grande Prairie clinic

CTV News is reporting that ATB Financial has filed a lawsuit against the private healthcare company PrimeCARE.

Earlier this week, PrimeCARE Health abruptly closed three Alberta clinics, including one in Grande Prairie.

The report says the suit concerns over $7 million in unpaid loans.

ATB claims is had attempted to contact PrimeCARE several times to receive payment, but say they never received answers.

The closure has prompted many residents to take to social media to express concern over having to find a new doctor.
