City on 99 closed due to frozen water line

Jan 20, 2020 | 11:02 AM

The City of Grande Prairie says a frozen waterline has forced the closure of the City on 99 building until further notice.

The building, which is home to the City’s Enforcement Services and Crime Prevention, was closed Monday morning because of a nearby water line which froze. Aquatera is currently working to repair the water main.

The City says in a release that normal enforcement operations will not be impacted. Those who need to renew or enquire about pet licensing, or to pay or inquire about bylaw fines can do so through the online eservices portal, or by calling 780-830-5790.
